Jason Sonon
Owner, Network/Security Architect
After attending Penn State for Electrical Engineering, Jason worked for eight years in various technology fields ranging from servicing office machines to PC repair, Jason joined a large local information technology consulting firm as a PC/Server Analyst. He achieved the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certifications. Jason became the firm's Senior Network Engineer with numerous certifications from Nortel, CheckPoint, Novell, CompTIA and others. In 2003, Jason left the organization and started Sonon Consulting which later became NetPrivateer. Jason currently holds numerous technical certifications including the Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE #11846), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) and National Security Agency & CSSA Information Security (InfoSec) certification.
Heather Sonon
Owner, Operations Manager
Heather obtained her Bachelor's degree in Economics & Business Administration with magna cum laude honors from Ursinus College. She began her career in human resources as a Benefits Coordinator for a large national rehabilitation organization with 18,000 employees. Later she served as an HR Generalist and finally as a HRIS Director for a large national non-profit mental & behavioral healthcare organization with 6,000 employees in 12 states. In 2008, she began working for NetPrivateer as the Operations Manager where she oversees human resources, finance and marketing. Heather has been certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 1997.
Bob McCouch
Senior Network Engineer
Bob holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He began his career working in various technology support roles before moving on to become a Network Engineer at a large medical application service provider and later a large enterprise software firm. Bob moved on to become a Regional Solutions Engineer for a large telephony equipment manufacturer before joining NetPrivateer in 2008 as a Senior Network Engineer. Bob currently holds several technical certifications including the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) as well as certifications from Juniper, Extreme and Avaya.
Rich Kasting
Network Engineer
Rich holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science from Kutztown University. He began his career in PC, server and application support roles for multiple technology consulting firms supporting large enterprises such as a steel manufacturing company and a chemical manufacturer. Rich then joined NetPrivateer in 2005 as a Network Engineer. Rich has extensive technical training in areas of network security, wireless and route / switch technology.
